instalations

In this series of installations, I worked so that the paint was not directly applied to the tree, to be ecologically correct, being possible to remove it when necessary. For this, I decided to make the paintings on a wooden sheet, and then cut them according to the shape of each node, making it look like the image is inside the tree.

I try to express the idea that we are literally part of nature. Denying our interconnectedness harms all of us, individually and collectively, and taking care of nature is taking care of ourselves. I believe that when we see ourselves as part of nature, we are fundamentally connected to it. We don’t see ourselves as separate, but as another species in a larger ecosystem in the natural world.
